Privacy Policy

ConvertHub is built around a simple promise: your files stay yours. This policy explains what that means in practice.
1. Files are processed on your device
All conversions happen locally inside your web browser using WebAssembly and browser APIs. Your images, documents, audio and video files are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any ConvertHub server. When you close the tab, any data held in memory is gone.
2. What we do not collect
- We do not receive, see, or store the contents of your files.
- We do not require an account, email, or any personal information to use the converter.
- We do not sell or share personal data — because we don't collect it.
3. Local storage (not cookies)
ConvertHub itself does not set any cookies. We use your browser's localStorage on your own device to remember three things: your light/dark theme preference, your recent-conversion history, and your cookie-consent choice. This data never leaves your machine, and you can clear it anytime from the Recent Conversions page or by clearing your browser data. History entries automatically expire after 24 hours.
4. Advertising & cookies
This site may display ads through Google AdSense to support the free service. When advertising is enabled and you consent via the cookie banner, Google and its partners may set advertising cookies and use device identifiers to serve and measure ads. These are only loaded after you accept — if you choose "Reject non-essential", the advertising scripts are not loaded. You can review or change your choice anytime using the Privacy Choices link in the footer.
Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's advertising policies. You can also manage ad personalization at Google My Ad Center. Ads never receive the contents of your files, because your files are never uploaded.
5. Analytics
This build includes no third-party analytics or trackers by default. If analytics is added in future, it will be disclosed here, loaded only with consent, and will never include your file contents.
6. Third-party libraries
ConvertHub uses open-source libraries (FFmpeg.wasm, pdf-lib, pdf.js, JSZip) that run entirely in your browser. They do not phone home or transmit your data.
7. Children's privacy
ConvertHub is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no personal data, no such information is gathered from anyone.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
